August 19, 2025-The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has successfully concluded an orientation meeting for Auditors, Cashiers, Stores Officers and Procurement Officers from across Luapula Province.
The meeting, held at Teja Lodge, aimed to provide participants with a clear understanding of their roles in the upcoming Mobile Mass Voter Registration (MVR) exercise, scheduled to begin on October 13, 2025.
In her closing remarks, ECZ Acting Internal Auditor Naomi Hara Kumwenda, together with Luapula Province Electoral Officer Kambinga Nondo, urged participants to uphold the highest ethical standards as they work towards delivering a credible voter registration process. The duo also encouraged all attendees to translate the insights gained during the meeting into practical action within their respective districts.
Tomorrow, the Commission will orient another group comprising District Voter Education Coordinators-Publicity and Human Resource Coordinators from all districts in the province on their specific roles in the MVR exercise.
Mansa District Electoral Officer,Dr Josephine Mwanza was among DEOs from districts across Luapula Province who attended the orientation.
