February 9, 2026-FORTE Group Investment Limited has officially opened its The Butcher Mansa Branch.
Speaking during the official opening, Mansa Mayor, His Worship Njikho Musuku, commended the Group for the investment, noting that the establishment of such a business is a clear sign of confidence in the local economy.
The Mayor said the business will contribute significantly to job creation, enhance food security and stimulate economic activity in the district. He further reaffirmed that the local authority remains committed to creating an enabling environment for investors to thrive and urged residents to support the new business.
Meanwhile, Mansa District Commissioner, Mrs Ireen Chivweta, described the opening of the Group’s Mansa branch as a symbol of economic growth, noting that the company first established a presence in the district over a year ago. Mrs Chivweta encouraged the Group to expand its operations to other parts of the province.
In her remarks, Mansa Municipal Council Town Clerk, Dr Josephine Mwanza, said the opening of the store will contribute to improved service delivery, as residents will now have access to quality and affordable products in a conducive environment.
The official opening ceremony was graced by Their Royal Highnesses Chief Kalasa Lukangaba, Mabumba and Mwansakombe and other heads of different government departments in Mansa District.
