August 3rd 2026-Ballot papers for the 2026 General Elections have arrived safely in Mansa District.
The ballot papers for Bahati, Mansa East and Mansa West Constituencies arrived this afternoon at approximately 14:20 hours under escort by the Zambia Police Service.
Upon arrival, the ballot papers were officially received by Mansa District Electoral Officer, Dr. Josephine Mwanza, in the presence of representatives of participating political parties, Civil Society Organizations, Faith-Based Organizations and other accredited electoral stakeholders, who witnessed the delivery process.
Dr. Mwanza assured stakeholders that the ballot papers will remain securely stored at the Mansa Civic Centre under 24-hour security provided by the Zambia Police Service until they are dispatched for polling.
She reaffirmed the Electoral Commission of Zambia’s commitment to ensuring the security, integrity and transparency of the electoral process.
