August 24th, 2026-For the pupils of Kale School in Mansa East Constituency, the dream of learning in a safe, spacious and conducive environment is becoming a reality.
Through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), a 1×3 classroom block that has been constructed at the school, adding much-needed learning space and helping to address infrastructure challenges that can affect the quality of education.
The impact goes beyond the walls of the new classroom block. Desks have also been procured under CDF for all three classrooms, ensuring that learners have appropriate places to sit, write and participate comfortably in lessons.
Adequate classroom infrastructure is an important foundation for quality education. Well-constructed classrooms provide learners with a safer and more suitable environment for concentration, interaction and effective teaching and learning. They also help reduce congestion and create better conditions for teachers to deliver lessons effectively. Similarly, the availability of desks contributes significantly to the dignity and comfort of learners. A pupil who has a proper place to sit and write can participate more effectively in classroom activities, take notes with greater ease and remain focused during lessons.
For teachers, improved infrastructure creates a more organised learning environment, making classroom management and lesson delivery easier. For parents and the wider community, such investments offer reassurance that their children are learning in an environment that supports their educational development.
Most importantly, the investment at Kale School is an investment in people and the future of Mansa East Constituency. Every classroom constructed, every desk provided and every improvement made to a school contributes towards giving children a stronger foundation upon which to build their dreams.
The classroom block is therefore not simply a structure of bricks and mortar, it is a space where knowledge is shared, confidence is built, talents are nurtured and future professionals, leaders and entrepreneurs are shaped.
Through CDF, development continues to reach communities where it matters most, bringing essential infrastructure closer to the people and creating opportunities for children to learn, grow and thrive.
Kale School is a reminder that when we invest in education today, we invest in the Mansa of tomorrow.
Mansa Municipal Council remains committed to building Communities and transforming Lives.
