August 31st, 2026-Mansa District has once again demonstrated that talent, determination and teamwork can take our young people to the very top! The district has emerged as a dominant force at the Luapula Provincial Youth Games, held in Samfya from 28th to 31st August 2026, where young athletes aged 18–22 years from across Luapula Province converged to showcase their sporting talent, discipline and competitive spirit.

Youth sporting events provide a platform for young people to discover and develop talent, build discipline, confidence, teamwork and leadership skills, while promoting healthy lifestyles and positive engagement.
They also create opportunities for young athletes to interact, learn from one another and compete in a spirit of unity, friendship and fair play. For many young people, such platforms can be the first step towards representing their district, province and ultimately the nation on bigger sporting stages.
